We're fundraising for the future of our planet
For forty years, together with our supporters, WWF-Australia has been at the front and centre of conservation. But we rely almost entirely on the generosity of people like you.
Your donation today will help to create a world where our most precious species and places are protected - now and into the future. And right now, we need your help. There are amazing animals dying out in our own backyard. Across the country, over 12 million hectares of Australian land has been burned to the ground in the recent catastrophic bushfires. Over 1.25 billion animals have lost their lives so far, including thousands of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, birds and other iconic wildlife.
Your support is urgently needed to care for injured wildlife and restore their homes.
Australia has already lost more mammals in the last 200 years than every other country in the world, combined – it’s a tragedy. And there are currently 19,000 Australian species that are considered 'at threat'. The situation is dire. Without a dramatic increase in conservation work to protect our threatened species, many of them will become extinct. Now is the time to increase our efforts to protect these species.
We must save the animals that make Australia the remarkably beautiful country it is. Will you help?
