URGENT APPEAL: Australia is recovering from a nationwide bushfire emergency. More than 12 million hectares of Australian land has been burnt. When habitat is lost, our wildlife suffers.
It's estimated nearly 3 billion animals - mammals, reptiles, bird and frogs were killed or displaced by the Black Summer fires.
Your support is urgently needed to care for injured wildlife and restore their homes.
Please don't forget about our wildlife.
Last summer's fires saw the largest single loss of wildlife in modern history. Many struggling Australian species have now been pushed even further towards the brink of extinction.
It's time to unite.
Your generosity will help those remaining survive. Will you help?
Last summer, Australia was ravaged by the most devastating bushfire season the country has ever seen.
34 lives lost, houses destroyed, and over 12 million hectares of Australian land was burnt. Tragically, nearly 3 billion animals - including thousands of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birds and other iconic wildlife were impacted by the devastating crisis.
Right now, 119 of our unique native species - already pushed to the brink - are at risk of being lost forever. We are particularly concerned about four key species that are now vulnerable or critically endangered: the brush-tailed rock-wallaby, Kangaroo Island dunnart and glossy-black cockatoo and distressingly, our koalas.
But all hope is not lost. Help is urgently needed to support our second phase of bushfire recovery work, to deliver:
2020 has already proved to be a year of incredible challenge. Will you please help our precious wildlife and habitats recover from this disaster?
