Our unique species are in serious trouble. Precious native animals are dying in their thousands - because wildlife rescue centres are too few and too far apart.
Road trauma, domestic animal attacks, bushfire, displacement. Across our vast land, when a wildlife emergency happens in under-resourced areas, often help is too far away. They need emergency services just as much as we do, but right now the capacity of wildlife carers is stretched to the limit.
Today you can help bridge the gaps in wildlife care so that more animals survive and go back to the wild.
You can help ensure that as many injured native animals as possible are given the chance to receive professional treatment and return to the wild. Your generosity could change the face of wildlife rescue and care in Australia.

RESCUE
Every minute counts - the faster rescuers can respond to an injured animal, the better the outcome. Your generosity today could help boost capacity by supporting ongoing rescue vehicle costs, equipment and vet services, as well as helping to deliver much-needed wildlife care and rescue training.
With your support, more precious wildlife will be closer to the emergency services they need rather than suffer the agony of being hours from rescue.
REHABILITATE
Wildlife carers not only coordinate the roles of rescuers and local vets in emergencies, but also provide many hours of devoted care for sick, injured or orphaned native wildlife after the initial rescue. This includes treatment, foster care and rehabilitation, so that each animal is given exactly what it needs for successful release back to the wild.
RELEASE
It takes planning and coordination to successfully release an animal after treatment and care. Critical considerations like a safe location - ideally close to its familiar territory - and plentiful food supplies are key to their chance of survival.
By increasing wildlife services in our most underresourced regions, you'll give sick, injured and orphaned wildlife the best possible second chance at life. Plus for every injured native animal you assist, you help other species, habitats and ecosystems too.
Your support can change the face of wildlife rescue and care in Australia. Please donate today to rescue, rehabilitate and release more injured wildlife back to nature.
